Dubai, 16 December 2025: Pakistan U19 secured their spot in the semi-finals of the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup with an impressive 70-run victory over UAE U19 in the Group ‘A’ clash at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Tuesday afternoon.

Choosing to bat first, Pakistan set a total of 241 for nine in their 50 overs, thanks to a sturdy half-century by Ahmed Hussain and crucial contributions from Sameer Minhas and wicketkeeper-batter Hamza Zahoor.
Despite losing early wickets, Sameer stabilized the innings with a composed 44 off 63 deliveries, featuring five boundaries. Ahmed played a pivotal role in the middle order, scoring 65 off 91 balls with four fours, laying a solid foundation for the team. In the final stages, Hamza added late momentum with a quick 42 from 51 balls, also hitting four boundaries. For the UAE, Yug Sharma stood out among the bowlers, claiming three wickets, while Naseem Khan contributed by taking two.
